Authors / Researchers: First steps

Web of Science acts as a hub for our other products. By registering for a Web of Science sign-in, you'll be able to use the same credentials to log into EndNote online, ResearcherID, and InCites Benchmarking & Analytics. While this is completely optional, you get so many benefits that there really is no reason not to register.

Benefits

• Save your searches in Web of Science
• Set up search alerts and citation alerts
• Save lists of records for later use
• Use the same sign in for other Clarivate Analytics products
• Access Web of Science offsite (http://webofknowledge.com)
  • Roaming access is 6 months.
  • Sign in onsite to refresh roaming access for another 6 month period.

From the Web of Science landing page, click on the Sign In button and select Register.

The Welcome tab on this guide walked you through identifying which Clarivate products you have. Now you'll want to spend some time familiarizing yourself with what each product does.

The links below are a great introduction, but it's also recommended that you explore the tabs at the top of this page as soon as possible. There's no better way to get started than to roll up your sleeves and jump right in!
